The Art School in Sandy Springs is coordinating juried exhibitions at the Gallery at Paper Mill Village, 255 Village Parkway, Ste. 320, Marietta, Ga 30067.

Co-chair for "Trees in Art" evewnt for TREES ATLANTA. OVer 347 artists submitted more than 850 art works. Judge, Anne Irwin of Anne Irwin Fine Art in Atlanta.

In the spring of 2008 I decided to veer away from my work in equestrian arts to develop a series of art work using a palette knife. The first series with the use of the palette knife is titled the "Red Series" because the undertone of the canvas is a deep burnt umber/red.

Participaton in Trinity School's Annual Fundraising Event, "Spotlight on Art". Participated for past seven years.

Mid Afternoon was juried into an art event at the Atlanta Artists Center on May 3, 2008.

Along with author, Jason McGrady, Donna has published a book on the process of creating encaustic art. Entitled, "A Studio Guide to Creating Encaustic Art", the book will be available for purchase in June 2008.
